I can't believe my baby boy is 9 months old. He's crawling, jabbering, exploring, and just an absolute joy. Watching the relationship develop between him and his sister is aw-inspiring. She is so loving and cuddly. She's quick to comfort him and wants to pick him up constantly.
Here she was trying to get him to look at the camera. Her idea of how that should work and mine were a bit different...
This was Thursday night, I think. She was falling to pieces at dinner time. Her almost 5 year old body just wasn't emotionally capable of one more conversation. She whined, stomped, and argued. She finally went upstairs, begrudgingly, while I got Everett into bed. I finished nursing him about 20 minutes later and went into her room to read her a book and this is what I found:
My newest baby. In 2009 we knew we were getting ready to start a family. We went car shopping, read Consumer Reports, compared, negotiated and eventually came home with a Subaru Forest. I hated it within a week. I had been used to driving my 2002 Nissan Xterra and I suddenly realized that I was NOT a car person. I need to see over everyone. I need a big truck. So, I've patiently waited and shopped. I've drooled over big SUVs and tapped my foot. Finally, we paid off the Subaru. HOORAY!! So, this is what we got to take it's place:
